Zion silver prizm replacement?

I pulled this silver, but the centering is completely off and miss printed horribly. I’ve never sent a card back to panini for a replacement. Is this worth the risk of waiting a year and getting nothing back?

Take a look at the RC logo.

The top edge has seen better days as wel.

1) Someone posted on a prizm facebook group that panini has been rejecting replacements because they are all out of replacements.

*side note..... is it a new thing in the basketball market that if a card is not gem they think its right to send in for replacement?

2) BGS is more lenient apparently than PSA on that defect when it comes to grading. Send it to BGS.

People do that already on eBay. If you sell a raw card, be prepared to get a return if it isn't a black label

Lol I’m just trying to get a psa 8.... someone sent in a zion with better centering than mine and it still got a psa 7... so I’m afraid of how low this would go

Just sell it raw if it's that bad of a condition. Just make sure to point out all the faults of the card to the buyer.

This...would probably still sell for at least 400-500 raw IMO even with the defects

I mailed back 30 prizm base of Josh Richardson because it has a text error on the back. Hoping they replace it with some SGC Gold Labels or maybe a White Box with a 1/1 Kobe in it. We'll see.

They will not replace that, even if they have replacements available.

And I would bet that gets at least a PSA 8.

Back in December I had sent in a bunch of cards for replacement from one of the green ice boxes that I received direct from Fanatics. 6 of the 8 packs all had massive damage to every bottom left corner. I sent back 2 green ice vets, a silver Roby RC, a vet silver, a luka and a zion base + Emergent.

I still haven't had the zions or luka replaced yet, but Panini was kind enough to replace all of the other cards, including the green ice, and RC silver with a 10/10 patch of Kyle Korver from 18-19 cornerstones.

So.. at this point, I'm not expecting to get much in replacement for the Zion or Luka Base that still haven't been fulfilled.

Yes, that's on EVERY single #147 card. I don't think you are getting replacements, but I could be wrong.

Consider yourself lucky to even pull one. Sell raw or get it graded, it still can get a 9.

Why should he settle for mediocrity?

It's Panini's awful printing of this product, they rush it to produce more and know that people have no option but to settle or not rip packs.

I sent in a prizm base Zion to panini for replacement. I demanded a gold /10 version of the same card. I told them I opened up a box expecting a gold refractor but instead got a base Zion by mistake.

Ill let you know what happens.

I never got a concrete answer on those cards with mis-stamped embossing. That's super common in Prizm this year. Someone posted an example of one with similar stamping to yours that was already in a 9.5 holder.

Some other people tend to think you'll get knocked on it.

Either way, send for a replacement and demand a sparkling shimmer superinvisifractor. Worth a shot.

If done plenty of Panini returns with success, but your card either will come back as is, or getting a different card replacement. I would not send for replacement, the risk of losing it is high.

Reading all these comments I’m going to just send to BGS and see what happens, if it comes back a 8.5 or less I’ll crack and send to PSA. I haven’t had the best luck with bgs, so I may be due for a great grade!

Yeah this is exactly my worry, the risk reward factor just isn’t there.
