Default Jamies Winston: " I'm one of the best quarterbacks to play the game."

Either he is the dumbest guy to every play football or the guy is smoking crack or shoving meth up his butt or something to think this.

Saying 10 of his INTs was because he was playing with a broken thumb.

I see in a PFF tweet yesterday Winston led NFL among QBs who had 12 passes that should have been INTs but were dropped.

This guy is flaming garbage as a QB and needs to stop acting like he's gods gift to the NFL.

It's nice to have that type of confidence.

I think when he said "one of the best to play the game," he meant at all levels. Given the number of quarterbacks at different levels currently, it can be a fair statement.

Semantics 101: That was a college course I did not do well in.

He's a damn good qb, he just makes bad decisions. I'd love to be as bad as him with potential.

Or how about he acts humble say I have the talent to be one of the best. I have struggled but feel that working with coach Payton I can show people the talent I have.

Well to be fair, he threw for 5,000 yards last year. He just threw a few more picks than average.

Jameis has all the talent to be a top QB in the league. His issue is his vision. He recently had much needed Lasik surgery on his eyes which should make a difference.

There are a couple teams that should have pounced on Jameis as he is only 26 and traditionally elite NFL QB's hit their stride at age 27.

I don’t mind confidence in athletes.

But Jameis has serious flaws in his game/decision-making that I would say are now a matter of record. He’s a back up for a reason.

And not being humble is why he won’t improve and grow. He is what he is.

That is pretty easy to do when you throw 40 times a game. 626 attempts.

I love the vision excuse.

I don't understand the issue. He's a professional athlete, he should be confident. Professional athletes state they're the best at their position all the time. Whether they are or aren't. Good on him, I hope he does well.

He is so good that he went from the #1 pick to almost out of the league in his first contract, and signed a deal for less than a kicker makes to put a jersey on next year. Stud.

I don’t really think he needs the money and it was more of going to the best situation for him...while still making over $1 million.

I don't know about that. This is a dude that can thread the needle 40 yards downfield in the corner of the endzone, and then stare down a linebacker and hit him in the chest on the next drive.

And to go back to this.. he was nearsighted. All of those awful shorter passes that got picked .. he could see those guys. That wasn't the problem. It's decision making. Always has been.
