COMC shipping times

What is COMC shipping times like nowadays. I've been on ebay and shipping has been steady there. Got a bunch of cards on COMC,and want it shipped, but their scheduled times are wierd. Anyone got recent experiences?

Yeah, your going to have to wait for those shipping times. I just had an order shipped, economy rushed that I always choose, had been pegged to go out June 10th actually shipped the 9th. I requested it though sometime early May. They are just way behind, if you buy a card from them on eBay though it ships right away, go figure.

I've a 3/27 purchase, slated for a 5/25 ship. Still nada.

A whole lot of things I'd like to buy right now but just can't do it until I know they are actually sending the items.

Have two shipments coming:

One for 7/16, requested on 4/15
One for 8/3, requested on 5/3

Hopefully they ship on those dates. Personally, I'm not mad as I understand the situation and they are not an essential business (oh and the fact that most of the stuff coming my way has gone up in price in the meantime)

I decided at the start of COVID to just wait it out for COMC, I have nearly 100 cards I had been slowly buying (mostly $1 PC cards) that I'm not trying to lose in some shipping mixup. They might've already been here by now if I had requested a shipment right at the start of it all, but I'm satisfied knowing that they're (hopefully) safe in a warehouse

I'm not mad either. I just can't justify any more purchases until the house is in order so to speak.

I requested a shipment back in March and it took much longer than normal before they shipped it (which is absolutely fine and understandable).

More worryingly (and not their fault) is the fact I still haven't received it. It usually takes a couple of weeks from the UK to the USA, but it's now been a month. Again, it's not totally surprising, but I just hope it gets here eventually.

In the meantime, I'm reluctant to get any other cards shipped from COMC to my home, because of the delays. Which sucks, because I have some great cards sat at COMC that I'd like to get my hands on!

I requested a shipment of 26 cards on 5/19. I selected Priority Rushed shipping.

I just received notification it was shipping out today.

I'm wondering about their processing times as they don't seem to have addressed that. I have two things that have arrived there but there is nothing in my 'to be processed' list yet. Are they just storing everything that comes in without processing it until they're operating more?

If I want something from COMC, I just buy it on eBay. Worth a few extra bucks to receive it ~1 week after purchase than having to wait months to get something I paid for and requested shipping.

For $4.99 shiping on ebay a card I would hope so, but that per card is crazy pricey. I guess only their ebay auction side are working in house

But buying directly from Comc is a few bucks cheaper and that $4.99 shipping, idk if comc combines shipping but it can all add up very quickly. I've been buying cards off ebay since 2005, and with all the shipping I've spent since I could have probably bought a nice PSA 7 MJ fleer rc. Shipping has got to be the biggest scam next to grading.

Not to add to your anxiety but I ordered something from Europe on ebay way back in March and it never arrived

If I want/need the card shipped soon, I’d just buy it off their eBay.

If the card is significantly cheaper on the site, I’ll just buy it there and ship it with bunch of stuff at once via economy shipping.

A few weeks back I bought a card on their site that was listed for $30 and $80 on their eBay. That might’ve been a small sample, but huge price gaps are possible.

This is because there are people running sales on COMC that don't port over to eBay prices. Many flippers take advantage of that fact. Otherwise, COMC embeds an additional 15% on the top of the listed price on COMC to eBay listings to cover their additional fees. And yes, they combine shipping on multiple cards on eBay purchased at the same time.

And there is a huge forum dedicated to sites like COMC further down where all this stuff gets discussed regularly.

COMC has been a frustrating experience lately. I have a small Herro PC with a few cards and added the holo for $18. The card right now sells anywhere between $25-$40.

Unfortunately, when I received my shipment, I received a base. I sent out an email about the error and they made it much more complicated than it should have been for a mistake THEY made. I sent a followup and no response yet (it's been over 2 weeks).

I dont get there shipping times. Why is economy rushed cheaper by s $1 with faster times than priority? I know these are estimates but it doesnt sound assuring.

Also are delays on COMC side or USPS side, cause I've bought stuff on ebay and haven't seen slow downs on most things.

Most of the slowdowns are at COMC themselves.

"Rushed" refers to how fast they take it out of their warehouse and hand it off to USPS. "Priority" refers to mailing through "USPS Priority Mail." So using Priority Mail doesn't matter much if it's sitting in their warehouse for a few more months.

All of these questions have already been answered in the correct forum...

I placed an order in end of May for a few cards (paid economy shipping), they said I would get them in August and I ended up getting them 2.5 weeks later.

Just ordered 40 cards for my personal collection through them on ebay and it was shipped in three days and on the way for the $4.99. They are good to use on ebay for combined shipping and their selection.

Why is Priority 2 months longer?
