Default Received this badly miscut Jordan today (Ebay), would you keep?

So I received this Jordan Hooperstars today, when I saw the listing there were minutes left and I was on my phone with a glare and couldn't really see the pics too clearly. Also the seller had it in a case that did a pretty good job covering the miscut on the bottom. However seller did state the card was in pristine condition (now I certainly didn't expect that but maybe some minor dings and wears was about it). However I'll let the scan of the back speak for itself. it's pretty badly miscut in the back. Seller said he didn't realize this thus he didn't put it in the descriptions. I did pay only $175 (got $25 refunded after the sale) which is about half the price of what a raw in good condition goes for. But this defect seems pretty major to me, I was originally gonna grade it too and just hoping for a PSA 7 or 8 to keep it in my collection. But would PSA even grade such a bad miscut? (I wanted all my PC cards in a graded case, thus why I was gonna grade it). What would you do, keep or return?

Even though his listing stupidly says its in pristine condition, the miscut is pretty easy to see in the auction pic, thus I don't really think 'there were minutes left and I was on my phone with a glare and couldn't really see the pics too clearly' is a good excuse.

If you had the time to read the description, you had time to better examine the pics. You said yourself it was only half price, so imo you should not try to return and let it be a lesson learned to look more closely at pics next time.

PSA will grade it with a 'MC" qualifier. Definitely have to pay attention to those pics. I usually get lazy on the new releases but am pretty eagle eyed with older stuff, especially Jordan.

I'm also here for the "What's your eBay ID" and "Blocked" creepers that have nothing better to do or add to the conversation.

Okay yea, I'll probably keep it and still send it to PSA just for them to put a slab on it. So what's with the MC label? Do they give you a grade not accounting for the miscut and just put a MC label with it?

Description says “pristine condition.” I would say that is item not as described if it is actually miscut.

I don't understand...would you buy anything based on just a writing and no pics? I feel you're asking for trouble buying stuff like this. Just a headache. Pictures tell all.

Yes. If it was a NM-MT 8 before, it would be a NM-MT 8 (MC) now. If you tried using the card in a registry set, it would count as a PSA 6.

I think it has character, especially buying it in 2020. I'd get that bad boy graded and keep it as my PC. You did only pay 50% of the value.
