Default Anthony Davis Prism RC value

Will these double/triple if he wins with Lebron? Or will he be undervalued because he will always be second on the lakers? Is it worth spending 600++ on one right now?

Is it worth 600$ though now? Looking back in late May he was selling for 200-250 on eBay.

He is!

Elite offense. Elite defense. Plays for the Lakers. Plays with Lebron. Only 26 so a DPOY and MVP is still in play. Great guy off the court.

Don’t wait to long my friend. See Giannis.

Bless you,

If you are going to buy, pony up the money for a graded copy.

Here is my experience with raw 2012 Prizm:

6x LeBron - all PSA 9 - 2 of those crossed over to BGS 9.5
4x Kawhi - 2x PSA 10 - 2x PSA 9
6x Anthony Davis - 1x PSA 10 - 5x PSA 9

I'm 3 of 16 so far for PSA 10. Your biggest issue on these cards will be surface.

Seems like he could get a raw copy and sub himself for another $20? Because it looks like every one you’ve subbed has been a 9 or 10, no? Unless by graded copy you meant specifically a 10.

Many are raw for a reason. If you want a nice one, just buy a graded copy.

Yes I mean just buy a 9 or a 10.

There is good reason they were all 9s and 10s. Wonderful seller on here sold me his best copies. No shot I'd buy them on eBay....

Yup, same as what I said above.

For me, I don't buy anything earlier than 2017-18 in raw format...they are raw for a REASON!

Not everyone.

Logically speaking, when a PSA 10 sells for $3000 and a PSA 9 sells for $1000, it makes sense to try....

With all due respect I strongly disagree with this. I buy cards dating back to the mid-90s and I would estimate that 75% of what I buy is gradeable (9 or 10). If I’m spending $100, I kindly ask what the condition of the card is and make sure to point out I don’t expect gem. Majority of the time the card is gem in my eyes. In PSA’s eyes, is a whole different conversation.

No, but you have to think about it. No one wants to leave money on the table, if prices are bonkers...why would you let the next guy reap the rewards...why not you? You would be foolish to know you have a gem AD and say...nah, not into grading...I'll let the lucky guy who buys it get the $$$$.

Sure, you can find a guy willing to do that...but, there aren't many and especially not with the prices basketball cards are getting lately.

Ok, last question. Which has better value? Davis prizm RC psa 9, or a LeBron 2019-20 prizm silver psa 9? Gonna buy one, just wanna make sure I get the long term value. I don’t sell my cards so that’s not a concern. I just want the best long term.

The auto is so overlooked. The pop report is less than the silvers and at like 1/4 the price. Could these be a good buy?

Low population isn’t a good indicator of long term value my friend. Silver Prizms are Kings!

It's tough to say. AD base rookie PSA 10 was available at my local card show (The Philly Show) in King of Prussia, PA on Feb 28th for $400. Seeing one went for $3,200 on ebay today...perhaps the PSA 9 will close the gap, looks like they are $1000 right now. The LeBron silver is priced lower at the moment, definitely will see a bump if they bring it home. I think both will go up just depends on how much. Good luck!

There is a select Prizm /25 Psa 9 that can probably be had for $1800. Seems cheap.

Same!

Batman is selling for $3k

Robin is selling for $15k

Great opportunity. Wish I didn’t consign mine given his hot start. Will be a great sale in 6-12 months
