Does anyone know why there is such a variance with final sales prices on EBAY? I know Target has these for $125 and Amazon has them for $90. On EBAY they have been selling anywhere between $90 and some over $400. Are there different versions of this box or is the difference just temporary insanity?

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Double-Mast...IAAOSwXzBfNdUN or https://www.ebay.com/itm/Magic-The-G...gAAOSwLDtfNGhJ First Rudy came out with a vid today that made everyone buy these now. Also, my distributor is telling me WOTC may not reprint these at all. I really find that hard to believe but their schedule is so busy they just may not do so. I can tell you this: Many sellers are just cancelling orders now tho due to allocations. I had in for like 15 cases and got like 6 lol. |

There is a huge problem on this product in that the single vip boxes are easily searchable, but most stores don't care and just opened boxes and just have the single vip boxes available, or like the big box stores just have the single boxes available on the shelf.
The major money right now is definitely in sealed cases, people said the product was too expensive but now seems to be sold out everywhere and people want cases as that seems to be the safest way to hopefully not have searched boxes. |

Thanks for the info guys. There is a sales today for $230 and $95.50 for single boxes. I would post links but I am technologically impaired and can't figure out how
![]() I know from sports cards that those are searched but had no idea it was an issue with MTG also. How can these be searched as the boxes I saw at Target were in a plastic box that they unlock at the registers. |

It would take some effort to search one like that but its possible, could buy it take it out of the store open the box, see there is not a high money card and return, that has been a problem for a while now, i know some targets have gotten to the point of not taking returns on card items but some still do.
There are videos out there showing how you can heat the top of the box and the glue just lets you pop it open and can search the pack, granted then you have to re-shrink wrap the pack but can be done. |

The problem is the configuration VIP Double Masters. Commonly in high end sports cards, a box has only one pack in it but this is a first time for Magic. So much of the sealed product is mislabled.
It should be one pack of VIP is the exact same thing as a single box. It’s a box with one pack, basically. An inner case has four pack/boxes...inner case is often mislabled as a box or a small case or a mini case. Then a full case is four inner cases of four pack/boxes, so a total of 16. Again, inner cases are something common in sports cards but not Magic. Check the descriptions in the auctions for how many packs are inside. |
