Default Oldie feeling like Newbie few questions

Hello,

Feeling like a newbie creeping back into the hobby. Few questions, appreciate responses.

1. Organizing--- I currently have my old Excel spreadsheet with my cards, can I transfer data into something like Beckett to get updated prices?

Alternatives to Beckett? I don't mind paying for more data if worth it.

2. Place to find card shows in Florida (or along east coast up to PA.)? Do they have onsite grading available?

3. I want to post pics on here vs. link (like I did in my first post). Using the outside methods such as flickr, IG, and others; do you control what is loaded from laptop into these methods or do they do a sweep through and upload all your pictures to your account? I would like to only upload my basketball pics, not family pics etc into the account.

alternative methods that (like flickr etc) will display the pic vs a link???

4. Any retired "GRADERS" near SouthWest Florida (Fort Myers) or Harrisburg, PA areas in here??? I do understand the human factor in grading what one person will see vs the other; I am considering taking my top 100 cards and getting the graded. Heck I am open to even super experienced hobbyist that has submitted many cards that has a track record of being 90%+ accurate in your submissions. I want to learn how to grade my own cards over/above what I have read/learned on internet. Again, I understand the human factor of grading concept.

Some would say I get OCD about cleaning, learning the regulations etc...I can still quote chit from the AR 670–1. Wear and Appearance of Army Uniforms and Insignia....white glove inspections, piece of cake....been through OSHA inspections, many of audits financial and insurance...but nothing beats hands on, first hand experience from someone else that knows the game/rules!!!

Thanks all for your help!!!

Regarding #3 - I use flickr and think it's super easy and user friendly. It doesn't upload everything; you get to select which ones you want to upload, then you can review and confirm before actually uploading to flickr.

Welcome back to the hobby and nice LeBrons in that other thread!

Beckett doesn't stay up to date and the prices are NOT accurate. I started using excel in the early 90s and still do. Depending on what you collect (I'm a completion-ist player PCer). There is not a good online tool for this. I use a combination of Beckett/COMC/Tradingcarddb for updating my spreadsheet.

Here's a starting point for Florida sports card shows. The only one I've been to on this list is Clearwater but it was a pretty good one. There's also a newer show in Tampa that used to be held at a Flea Market pre-Covid. Your best bet is to go to one of the bigger shows and ask a few of the dealers. A lot of them set up at multiple shows
