Just looking at some recent completed sales prices of cards and got me thinking;
20,30,40k for that rookie card, you can can get some beautiful game worn jerseys of hall of famers for that price(atleast a few years ago you could have) I wonder if they current market prices have made there way on to the Game Used Memorabilia market? |

"Game Used" is hardly ever a thing anymore, especially with Panini at the helm. Jersey cards for someone like Mahomes, albeit not game-worn....even from his rookie year have only passed into the three digit territory right around his big contract signing.

And the answer, is yes. I have seen jerseys and the like sell at recent Goldin, Hunt and Huggins auctions for way more than they have in the past. Partially due to the resurgence of collecting as an investment. And also partially due, to the fact so much has been locked away ion major collections, they just don't pop up any more. 20 years ago, it seemed like every major auction had at least one Marino or Montana game worn jersey in it. Now, not so much. Even questionable "game used" jerseys on ebay are selling for way more these days. A lot of fools looking for deals, and that pumps up the legit stuff even more |

Makes sense. As a fan, although perhaps harder to obtain, id rather have a game used/photo-matched auto rookie game worn jersey over a RPA RC.
