I really like the design of these Topps Now F1 card.
Topps didn't just go lazy and make them same design as MLB and soccer.
I give them an A for the effort.

I wish Topps would do the parallel cards for these just like baseball.

Very much a "Now" choice to have Gasly be card #1. Awesome win, but that's a name that wouldn't have gotten great odds to be the first card in any series before this week.

Expecting we'll see a Hamilton card next week. But it would be exciting to see another driver pull out a surprise win. (And hopefully not because of a penalty.)

Topps did an excellent job with the design on these cards and in a lot of nice touches. It probably helps that F1 is only every weekend so it's not like they have to pump out a lot of these.

Does Topps have a dedicated section (button) for F1 Topps Now yet?
I can't find the option, and have to either list "all" Topps Now cards and sort from newest, or have to search "F1 Topps Now" each time.

That Ferrari card is cool with the Italian colors in the background.

So eager to know the print run of #1 Gasly.
Seems like they haven't even made the archive page yet.
Hopefully we see the PR tomorrow.

I feel like the market for these cards, especially Gasly, is in Europe. I know there's a Topps UK shop, so the orders coming from two sites might be slowing down the print run announcement.

I really hope they announce before the current order window closes. Without ANY other F1 cards at all, I can equally imagine 500 or 5,000. Hamilton PR is even more mysterious, since he's almost certain to match or break every major all-time record in the sport this season.

Pretty high PR, but I guess we just have to wait and see how card #2 onwards perform in order to put it all into perspective.
With a lot of people having realized that card #1 of most new on-demand sets are "no-brainer" money makers, high PR was somewhat expected.

I like that print run. I would love to see Topps throw numbered parallels in to add to the chase.

Globally, every single race pulls Superbowl-level audiences (100 million+). These cards might never hit $100, but $10 seems very secure.

Looks like card #1 is selling for around $20 now on ebay, though some are basis best offer, so not really sure what the actual numbers are.
The next test for this card will be once people get them in hand and ebay gets slightly overpopulated with the listing of this card.

As for F1 Topps Now in general, I think #2-#4 will also have relatively high print runs due to a lot of people buying them before card #1 print run was revealed.
I assume the over 2K print run will scare some people away when card #5 onwards come out, and that might be when we see some truly "rare" low print run cards that become valuable in the long run.
Just my theory, which might also turn out to be completely opposite...

I think 2 & 3 get close to 10K because of their popularity.

I think we are going to see autos of these cards at some point.
F1 Topps Dynasty is releasing this year too.

Bought 20 of Lewis Hamilton and 10 each of the Ferrari & Albon.
Will see how the print run turns up to be...

It's worth noting that most (or all?) of these drivers have never had licensed trading cards issued by the big trading card companies like Topps or Panini.
I've seen some cards on eBay, but those were issued by small companies that I've never heard of or one of those SI kids cards that come with the magazine.

Hoping that these Topps Now cards will appreciate in value over time.

I skipped on the Hamilton. He will have others and once he wins his next race that will tie the record.
