Damn right up the middle, thought for sure that was a base hit.
Good for him! Well at least the Packers looked good Brewers fans, go watch them/

Me, a Padres fan, looking at the Cubs throw their 16th no-hitter:

Started off the season strong and then had a few rough outings but when he’s got his stuff working he’s a very solid SP. Has a Hendricks-esqe approach, pitches to contact and doesn’t really on K’s.

That had to have been the most unexciting no-hitter I've ever seen.

??? Not sure I follow this. Every completed no hitter is exciting.

Between the massively boring TBS announcers, it being 10-0 before the Brewers brought in their SS to pitch, it being Alec Mills and a 5/3 K/BB ratio.. it was pretty far down on the totem pole as far as no-no's go.

I thought the same. Absolutely no atmosphere without the fans. Too bad as Miller Park is 1/3-1/2 Cubs fans when they play. The Brewers season basically ended last night on the Heyward HR off of Hader, and were flat today.

Good chance at 2020 Update. RC eligibility is already burned for him.....he won a starting job out of spring training so he'd be the type of player that would usually surface in Update as a vet base.

Get the hype train for 2020 Update rollin'

Giolito's was pretty tense/exciting, though. I don't think it was just the no fans part.

I suppose, not that the Brewers are great by any means but Giolito did feast off of one of the absolute worst teams in the MLB.

Make no mistake, I made sure to watch Mills in the 8th and 9th today because a no-no is a no-no. There was just so little "Wow!" in this one. Just look at this thread. Not many people really care.

Giolito also struck out 13..

This came out of nowhere and kinda pissed me off. All games started at same time, and I was mostly focused on the trash Vikings, then the Clippers blew it and Cubs scored a million so I wasn't worried about it, then I got an alert that he had a no-no going, so I saw the 9th is all.

But still pretty damn awesome. His RC logo in Update or series 1 is what I'm looking forward too now.
