Default Bought A Collection - Only Keeping 1 - Opinions Welcome!

Bought a large collection that had some Nolan Ryan autos below (12 total). I want one for my sons PC but not sure which to keep. Any thoughts from the board? To be honest I’m leaning toward the 2005 Archives...

UPDATE - KEEPING 2005 ARCHIVES, OTHERS WILL BE AVAILABLE SOON ON B/S/T FORUMS!

Agree on the archives. The sweet spots will fade, and I dont like the sticker autos

Nice cards. My favorite player ever, but I have very little of him other than a personalized autographed ball I got as a kid. I'd love a nice on-card auto of him in an Astros uniform. Any suggestions?

Send your favorite Astros card to his foundation! I think 6-8 weeks is the turnaround!

I mean top row, 2nd from left. Wearing the Astros cap in the inset circle. Love the look of the autographed ball made into a card.

I personally like the Fleer sweet spot auto(Rangers). Ive collected Nolan Ryan my whole life and owned that card at one point, wish I hadnt gotten rid of it.

Zenith and Astros Fleer Sweet Spot are SN/34 if that changes things for anyone.

Normally I would say archives....but there are some nice ones in there that wont ever be produced again. Archives will make few more similar in the future.

For me its the Hall Worthy blue or Zenith

the 2007 sweet spot. the sepia or black and white photo versions won't or will not fade if properly cared for.
the 2004 sweet sigs may but if it hasn't at this point. most likely won't.
I do like the 2001 sweet sigs

There is exactly one Sweet Spot auto in the entire picture.

Wrong. Bad pen usage and specific sets had issues, but hardly all of them.

Thank you Thecardiq. these get such a bad rep when 07 was the year for large quantities fading due to a change in synthetic leather but there are exceptions. I'd say 5% overall of various material and years have faded.

I think you simply should keep the one you like the best. I'm partial to the sweet spot or the 04 sweet sig but you really can't go wrong with any of them. after closer look the sweet sig looks great and should remain that way.

the 07 sweet spot won't be going anywhere signature wise

I'd also go with the Archives, but it's the only set there I personally collected.
