Default Ricky Williams custom box showoff / shout-out

**Keep scrolling for additions - latest pickup 10/14/25 - newest photos added of my 1/1s 10/21/25**

**Latest photos of the now-autographed box lid in post #20 below**

Ordered a custom storage box from TDS Customs, user scty0502 here... Very pleased with the result, pics below. If I wasn't so lazy with Flickr I'd show a few cards, maybe another time. EDIT: See replies for some show-offs and new additions.

Really nice looking box! Putting non-toploadeds cards in there would scare me though

I could have given more details I guess, lol. This box is designed for graded cards... I have a mix and probably more toploaders than his regular box comfortably holds, so I opted for the graded box. I guess a regular one could hold sleeved cards. The bottom is felt. Certainly not for high volume handling or dragging around all the time IMO.

Guess I'll turn this into a little bit of a PC showoff thread also.

Bowman Chrome Gold Refractor /25
PMG /50
Playoff Promo triple auto w/ TD and Barry
Prime Time Rookies auto /25

Latest additions... Yes, the Precious Metal is misidentified as a 1997... Any advice on sending it in for reslab?

Autograph signing coming up at the Dallas card show. Debating getting a real auto on it... Thoughts? What type of pen/marker?

Either a paint pen (if it’s rough wood) or a Staedtler Lumocolor marker (if smooth wood).

Seconded with a slight preference towards a paint pen regardless but you can't go wrong with a PP or Staedtler for smooth wood either way imo.

Love seeing this thread pop up again!

Really tempted to post my Rickey’s, but I don’t want to distract from OP’s awesome collection.

*new thread incoming*

Any thoughts about getting the inside of the lid signed, as opposed to the outside, which already has the facsimile competing with an auto?

That's a good idea, I hadn't thought about it. Agreed the two autos on the top of the lid was going to be a little odd. Having the inside signed would protect against damage also.

If the post includes some 1999 1/1s and a price, by all means jump in...

Ricky signed my box lid at the Dallas Card Show this past weekend. A friend that came with me ended up with a spare JSA authentication ticket so I even got a sticker on it. Looks pretty sweet in the silver paint pen and he put a nice big signature on it.

Great idea and great execution. Looks amazing! It was nice in the days (pre 2006) when there were only 500 or less cards of a 1st rounder made and you could keep them all in 1 nice box. With players having 5k-7K different rookie cards in this era..you would need your own Aircraft carrier to hold them all.
