This user made an offer on one of my items. I saw it a few hours later and accepted.

Then this morning he says his kid mistakenly put in the offer and tried to sneak one past him.

It's one thing if you or your kid mistakenly hits the Buy It Now. But to put in an offer takes a few more steps of intentionality.

If your kid really did that, use it as an opportunity to teach them by honoring the purchase and having your kid take responsibility by paying you back, working it off or deducting from allowance, etc...

His ebay handle shows that the probability of this story being true or even having a kid are close to 1%. This is a hustling name and I guarantee that this story is made up. Adults with families wouldn't have a name "tryintomakeit" BTW, we should also probably block tryinto makeit, tryintomakeit1, and tryintomakeit2...
