Default 2020 Contenders FOTL

First FOTL ever that came and went without a thread?

I tried a case at $132 one level above the floor and it ended up selling out there. 2 Optic autos and 4 Optic parallels per box so I thought worth a shot at that price.

I grabbed three boxes at the level above, around $139. Panini resale prices haven't been bad (to me) this year, and with a few draft picks in there (I think), I see resale being nice on this one.

Only mildly surprised not to see a thread on this one, haha...

This one was tough for me. I thought about buying to flip, but my personal rule is not to buy something unless I'm fine ripping it. And I had no interest in ripping this. That said, I would've been in for a case if it hit the floor. If you're looking to sell, probably will be good at purchase price of <$140.

I went with a half case at $147. I think the Contenders Optic autos being only in FOTL should be a nice little perk. 2020 RC class + prospects + draft picks? Sign me up.

Do you rip, flip, or hold?

I'm usually ripping. Every now and again I'll run small breaks after I get my fix, but I think in a perfect world I do half and half on these.

Disregarding price, I take Optic (for now). A lot of on-card autos in Optic, and I personally like the design better.

I was thinking the same thing and thought it might hit the floor since seemed like not much interest. But likely breakers and Bo/DA grabbing tons of these. I got 2 at 139 which turned out to be the bottom I believe

It made it to $132.29 for maybe a minute or so. Nothing wrong with $139 though. Dragging this out over 2 hours kind of made the final drops inconsequential.

That's what I was thinking, and Optic came down to about the same price level

I think the crazy price hike on Bowman Draft could help these out.

Ok wasnt sure on the exact moment but I'm glad I checked out when I did. I don't think I wouldve made it thru at that drop

When do people expect to have theirs in hand? Wouldnt mind seeing the breaks when you do.

No it doesn't, the FOTL and regular versions are most likely packed out at the same time, because 1/25's show up in regular hobby boxes all the time. The only difference between FOTL and regular hobby is the extras that you get in FOTL that aren't in hobby, and the Dutch Auction that Panini makes you go through to get them.
