Curious if anyone knows of any easy ways that will not damage the leather. Thanks in advance!

I'm guessing someone signed a football but accidentally left a smudge or streak?

Leather will likely always have some sign of the mark. You might get it to fade but it will still likely show very faintly if you look.

Alcohol or Acetone would work like mentioned above. Unfortunately Leather is very porous so the sharpie would have soaked in. You can get the majority of but not all of it. Good luck!
