Default Kardashian Money Coming Into the Hobby

With that, how do us working class stiffs, or true PC collectors, stand a chance?

This is how I feel, too.

And that is a great card!

If Vegas ever goes back to being Vegas I could see an operation like the Bullpen in LA renting a boutique storefront in Caesar's Forum Shops or similar and absolutely killing it.

Both the Brady & the Wagner were pulled at my LCS - The Bullpen 2.0 in Los Angeles. Mitch has been is business for a long time & is one of the Good Guys in our Hobby. It is nice to see his place get the well deserved attention from those amazing pulls...

This shop is awesome. There’s a few card shops around my area borderline LA OC county but I would rather spend my money at The Bullpen.

Breaks yes. Buying wax no. Their prices are horrendous. I stopped buying from them in January and even then their prices were not at all competitive.

Do whats always been done: Find something else thats more affordable until it becomes too cool and the rich people move in and ruin it.

Jeez, I wonder if his status as a “celebrity” and/or social media presence has anything to do with all these miraculous hits.

I haven’t done a break with them but their inventory on wax is immense. I’d rather deal with them than buying off eBay. Is there other card shops around LA or OC county you recommend? I’ve been to Frank n Sons but that line is horrendous unless you wake up early to lineup before they open.

there was a shop on the forums up until a two years ago. Pete rose would visit often and sign autos there. I went back but the shop closed or moved.

I have to disagree with you. That has not been my experience at all. But, I am not sure exactly what you are comparing prices to, online or ? Brick & Morter shops have to charge more to pay rent & keep the lights on.
