Help Please Do any other copies of this card exist?

I tried this thread in 2013 and got fried by the trolls. The names Haiku and Jason Mars filled the troll commentary. SO I GAVE UP....

I have a legitimate question. I got this card in a pack of 2013 Bowman Draft.

I have yet to see another copy of this card surface anywhere in 7 years. The draftee dual set has never been sold as a ten card set. Every listing i have ever seen was for a nine card set. I believe the 10th card, Ryan Stanek and Nick Ciutto was pulled before printing, but this one snuck out somehow. I know the this card doesn't appear in an autographed version like the other nine cards do.

If you have any information that helps, or have this card, please let me know. I have done the research and in 7 years still have not heard of another copy of this insert.

I think I have a good many of these in an insert box somewhere. I'd imagine if it's that rare I don't have one, but I will double check. Very interesting.

COMC has a picture of the card so at least one other copy exists somewhere.

The COMC one sold for $75 in Jan 2015, so it was obviously seen as a rarity at that time.
They way they list sales, there were two other sales of this card, but they may have been to other flippers on COMC, or there may have been three copies, and two were purchased at least four years ago and are still in someone's inventory on COMC. Only one has been mailed out from COMC.

Add: I don't see any in the PSA or Beckett Pop Reports.

nothing is great about the card itself, other than it was pulled from production and not supposed to have been released

Yeah, Master Set collectors would go nuts for a card that only has a few copies released, accidentally.

It seems odd that a card like that would be pulled late in the process (though it sounds like that's what happened). Is there anything that jumps out at you about the card that might cause a decision like that to be made?

Very few were inserted into packs. Something similar happened to the same type of insert in 2014 Draft as well. Forgot who was on that one.

I believe it had to do with Stanek not being under contract with Topps upon release, so the card was pulled. I haven't had Topps confirm this, but I have tried.

Ah, that's probably it. He is not in Bowman Chrome Draft, but is in the various Panini sets that year.

That might be it - Stanek's first card is in 2014 Bowman Chrome.
