What's happening with my UD Reflections cards?

Has anyone had this happen to any of their UD Reflections Cards? As you can see in the first 3 pictures, the foil is "eroding" away. The Winslow is from 2004 Reflections and the Jordan/LeBron from 2005 Reflections.

I recently transferred the Kellen Winslow card to the screwdown probably 2 months ago and now the top right corner is loosing foil. The Jordan/LeBron card was transferred to a one-touch about 2 years ago. I purchased both cards over 10 years ago and they've been in a top-loader or encased and stored in a box the entire time. The 4th photo I pulled from an eBay listing displaying the Jordan without any surface issues.

What's weird is that there's no residue or residual foil on the card or case, and the surface still feels smooth. Anyone have a clue what's going on?
