Default Scammed

The account ryanfreelreel is banned at the moment, but if it gets unbanned, take caution. I’m pretty sure I was scammed in a trade. Be careful out there.

He sold me a card, never shipped, and I'm currently disputing with PayPal.

I provided the mods with all the screenshots from here as well as PayPal.

We made a trade. With his low itrader I should have known we shouldn’t have traded at the same time. Sent tracking number, package didn’t move for almost two weeks. I messaged them asking if they’ve heard anything or could make a claim like I did. I knew mail was slow but thought it was getting better. The account didn’t message me back. Then yesterday the package was “intercepted” and delivered to a PO Box no where near where I live. On the pic of the card they were supposed to send me you could see a partial address and it’s the PO Box where the card got delivered. I assume they just mail the card out, then intercept it and send it to their PO Box so it looks like they mailed the card, but they still get yours and theirs back

Luckily is wasn’t a huge trade, $35-$40 worth of cards maybe, but it’s just the principle. I just want to make sure it doesn’t happen to anyone else.

Yeah I should have realized something was up... After agreeing to a price, they asked me to send F&F.... I refused and then they asked me to cover the fees, to which I refused again. It wasn't a big deal, so I sent the money anyway.... I fully expect for PayPal to rule in my favor, just feel foolish for not sniffing out the scammer

That's exactly how I feel and exactly what I told the mods.

Going through all that effort to scam for $35 of cards is just an extra level of sad.

Exactly haha. That’s probably why I let my guard down and just went ahead and mailed it without asking them to mail first. If they get enough small lots, it adds up I guess

I called him out in a thread in Mid-December, for somewhat similar conduct. Things that he was posting, was almost like “bot-like” automated conversations, that didn’t really make sense. You could read them, and not really notice, but there were several tells. He had over 800 posts in less than 30 days. And at that time was pretty confident that there was something not right. I was then called out by a bunch of douche bag posters, for accusing someone of something that I couldn’t prove. I’m pretty confident that there are many other accounts like his currently posting on Blowout. But they won’t be outed, because there’s too many half-wits that won’t acknowledge what’s really going on. Assuming that there will be several more than you come out of the woodwork soon.

File mail fraud claims. Then submit that paperwork to his local police office once talking with them.

Ok, so I knew I recognized that name from somewhere.

This guy is Shayne Ditzel, been scamming for quite a while. At least going back to early 2018 but probably longer.

https://www.facebook.com/shayne.ditzel

I'm betting he's got other BO accounts as well. Uses Sarah Sisto (his gf who he claims is his ex scamming in his name) because his name has been known for so long.

Had a similar issue with Ryanfreelreel. Said I'd buy a lot, then she asked me to pay F+F, I refused and then she wanted a price increase to cover G+S. Again I refused and I cancelled the deal. Reported it to mods the same day.

Dude started 45 sales threads in his first (and only) month as a member. Good riddance!

Should have negged them when you reported them as well to warn those dealing with them before the mods could react.
