How to trade cards here? serious question.

Hi guys, is there a link on steps how to trade your cards with member here? I'm about to offer trade but not sure what tips and tricks I need to do for successful transaction with another member. I hope I am on the right section.

Any suggestions are welcomed.

If a high dollar item you can use a mod as a middle man.

Otherwise you both just post.

trade with reputable members based on itrader feedback.

in this specific situation I would likely ask you to ship first seeing as you have no feedback. that zero feedback is going to be what holds people back from trading with you. if you are willing to ship first, that would alleviate the concern of the other party. don't be afraid to ask for references and only trust references from reputable members. Lot of new people in the hobby. 99% of this hobby is good. There is still the other 1% though.

Yep, post the trade in a thread on the BST section, and clearly list what each item being traded is, so there's no "He said, she said." Then have the person accept the trade in the thread by quoting your post. Since this is one of your first transactions, you would send first, and just post that "It was mailed this morning via... USPS Priority Mail" or whatever. Remember that insurance is for the SENDER to guarantee that the item arrives, to protect themselves.

Receiver should respond in the thread when they get the package, then post that your items were advertised and list their own shipping date. Once you get the package, you respond back in the thread that the trade is complete. After that, you can both leave each other a feedback using iTrader.

Basically though: post what you have, what you want, and then when you find a match agree when to ship and how (bubble mailer is assumed, call out if you’re expecting something different like plain white envelope.)

The best way to get itrader is to do a bunch of smaller trades or sales first. It will be more difficult to move higher end until you establish some feedback. It doesn't take a ton of deals to convince people you're reliable. Just be prompt with your shipping, pack the cards properly/securely and communicate throughout the process i.e. "hey, your cards went out today, the tracking number is: xxxxxxxx".

Since you're new, let folks know that you would appreciate feedback upon receipt. There are plenty of lazy folks that will get the cards and move on without leaving itrader. It's ok to follow up and ask if everything is good and if so to please leave itrader, but try not to overdo it. Some just don't want to be bothered. If that happens, I just move on to the next deal.

Are you seeking to buy anything small/cheap? As others have said, buying or selling low end items is a good start.

I would like to. As of now, I want to buy some cheap Ja RCs or EP. I have to start small and build feedback.
