Default What's the most expensive card you have in a 9-pocket page?

My son (who's only 11) was shocked to see that I had put a few $10 cards in my 9-pocket pages. For him, anything valuable in the slightest goes into a top loader (and I'm all for that).

But it did get me thinking...what's the most expensive card you have in a 9-pocket page?

Do you tend to use pages for low end stuff?

I'm currently not doing any sets, but if I'm doing a set ALL cards go in a binder. Have had entire 1955 Bowman, 1941 Playball, 1933-35 Diamond Kings and 1953 Topps all in Binders

I haven’t used pages since I was in my early 20s.

as a set builder, I use sheets for most everything unless I purchased it in a slab.

I store them side by side in 12x18 paper boxes which has worked really well.

I built each of my sons a set of Donruss for the year they were born and put it all into pages/a binder.

My oldest was born in 2017, so I currently have a $200-$300 card (the Mahomes rookie) in a binder. It'll stay there until he's old enough to do with it what he wants.

My entire 1960-1997 Dallas Cowboys' collection is in 9 pocket pages in binders. So I have $100, $200, $300 cards in there. I put a sleeve on them before I slide them in the page. I don't like looking through my collection and having those separate.

All of my binders are over at my moms house. Next time I’m over there I assume I’ll be pulling a lot of cards from the MJ, Kobe and LeBron binders. There should be a ton of chrome, refractors, inserts and lower end rookies.

When I ran a card store in 1993, someone brought in their 53’ Topps SET in a binder w pages. I mean 1993, but still.
I offered him hard sleeves at cost.

I’m currently moving all my rainbows to a binder to make them easier to look at so I’ll have a couple of superfractors I’ve overpaid for. Probably $120 at the most

Sounds like most people don't use them anymore. I prefer looking at rainbows and parallels in pages. *shrug*

I still use binders and pages...I do the same thing, any stars up to $10 goes in a binder. Anything above that goes in top loader

Little 7 year old me put an Eli Manning topps rookie autograph into a binder with no sleeve, and I would always take it out and shove it back in (twss) and it's an all black border card, so it's dinged to heck, but I still have it, and probably always will since I was my first "big pull" so it's not too big a deal for me!

Wasn’t much at the time but from one pack of 2011 Chrome I pulled a Trout Refractor #175 and in the page it went for a couple months. Once they started fetching $10, into a penny sleeve and toploader it went
