One of their competitors has their price at 2499.95 a box and a case at 29,499.95 lol. I mean is this some kinda joke?!?

Update- Blowout just has theirs rounded up to $2,500 and $30,000.

Im just kind of curious. How much do you think that these sites are making on a box? Did their cost go up crazy too? Or are they just reaping the benefits since people are willing to buy it.

Direct cost is about 245. If you can get any. Near impossible to be allocated anything these days..maybe 1 box

I’d imagine there are a small group of LCS and other distributors (I.e. Big 3) that get a large allocation and the rest are getting a case or two max.

Then the fat cats that are getting the large allocations are selling them off at their 10-12x margin. Rich get richer? What do you guys think?

Your just about spot on! Last years direct prices for prizm were about 120 if you add shipping, this year Panini doubled it but cut local shops allocation in half. I'm thinking they see the prices and decide to just sell on their website, maybe. The truth is, these big breakers eat more wile the smaller shops take the allocation hit. I can see them racking in millions just on prizm breaks alone. I wont be surprised if upper management who calls the allocation shots are getting kickbacks on the side. I would hate to think that but that's just how this world runs.

Oh for sure. I bet they are actually even printing a bit more at these prices. So somebody's story isn't adding up down the line.

It's more of a joke that people keep buying. If people said no then the prices would come down. They have no reason to stop being greedy.
