Default Who else misses UD Ultimate Collection?

One of my most favorite sets especially 2008 and 2009. cards are all on card and in my opinion had the best elegant designs out. My 2nd favorite UD Exquisite.

Agreed. One of my favorite PC pickups. Snagged this for 15 bucks a few years ago.

I do. 08-09 Ultimate were incredible. One of my favorite Ultimate collection moments was the day 2009 released. I picked a box from a fresh case and promptly cut my finger on the packaging somehow. Before my lcs owner could return with a bandaid I had pulled this Big Ben auto. It would have been cool if he inscribed something but oh well.

This is one of my favorite cards. Just the look of it. Scan sucks though,

You can throw in Exquisite Collection, too.

UD Ultimate Collection in Hockey is a total train wreck since it’s regularly on ePack!

Nostalgia is nice, but aside of the ridiculous pricing the Panini high end products are far superior to what UD fabricates today.

I remember when Ultimate was the first product to pass the $100/pack level around 2002 I think. My friends and I thought it was insane at the time--the few I busted were a terrible value even though the cards looked awesome. Sign of things to come.

I also like Ultimate Football. Actually prefer it to Exquisite due to price and card size.

Loved it, that was the 1st 'high end' I can remember, it was before Exquisite I believe.
The Eli Manning shield auto 1/1 RC was pulled at my LCS.

Favorite set by a mile. Some of the best looking HOFer, on card autos came out of Ultimate. Most never surface anymore.

I wasn’t in the hobby when they actually released them but I’ve acquired a few since then. I wish Upper Deck still had a license. Here are mine:

If future collectors value art & aesthetic at all, 2008 Ultimate Seasons cards will be incredibly valuable. On card autos, amazing design, and probably the best auto/patch checklist every assembled.

2008 and 2009 Ultimate Collection had some amazing multi-player patch cards.

So did 2008 and 2009 Exquisite.

UD Premier wasn't as popular, but it also had some great combinations that didn't show up in other sets.

I always loved when they would do a separate COA card, in order to not ruin the look of their back to back side memorabilia and auto cards.

Made me feel all fancy when I got one. Like it was an actual piece of memorabilia.

Id put the card in a 1 screw, and the COA in a 1 screw as well to complete the ensemble
