I'm really excited with the possibility of having a Portuguese player for the first time in the NBA and collecting one of my countrymen.
I've only watched him play a handful of times, an excellent defender who positions himself really well for rebounds. But admittedly I haven't watched much, so I'm curious if anyone follows college basketball, what do you make of him? Some Portuguese sites are speculating the Raptors are following him closely and might be interested. |

Can't see him getting drafted unless it's at the end of the 2nd round. Maybe he gets signed as a UFA and goes to the G League

I'm a fan of another Mountain West team so I've seen him over the last 3 years and I really like where his game has gone. He probably had the most draft potential if he'd come out after freshman year because there was more upside to bank on, but he really has rounded himself out in the last year as a player. His defense is definitely the calling care, and his offensive game has expanded, but I don't think anything's elite enough to bank on him being a rotation player. His skill set makes me think a team falls in love with him and nabs him in the 2nd round even if he isn't a consensus prospect to get drafted, though.
