Not sure. Small PSA sub. The ones graded well enough to sell went to Probstein. Didn’t recognize VCP buyer ID of PSA 8.

That's an extremely uneven cut along the right side of the Rose. This was no ordinary, semi-incompetent professional card trimmer at work here. Just a small sub amateur, most likely.

But it still got past the goaltender and will only encourage more amateurs.

My question would be what does Psa look at when they are grading ?

PSA is just furthering the narrative that cards in their slabs aren’t important, just the number on their labels.

And PSA has reviewed this card. They were unable to detect any of the alterations. PWCC is now selling it with their eye appeal sticker.

Unable…unwilling…doesn’t care. PWCC certainly doesn’t.

The eye appeal of the card isn't any better post-alterations. In fact, it's worse as the trimmed PSA9 is sitting crooked in the holder.

The re-colored red on the jersey seems like it would stick out like a sore thumb.

we've trashed (rightfully so) PSA, et al non-stop since this "buy card / alter card / sell same now-worthless card for a sh!t-ton of profit/ rinse and repeat" circle jerk fiasco was discovered (or rediscovered depending on how long you've been involved in this hobby). but out of this long list of co-conspirators, PSA is absolutely IMO where the buck stops. If they can ever figure out how to get their sh!t together, this whole daisy chain of b.s. might finally come to an end, no?

BTW this comes from the buyer of a trimmed PSA 5 '48 Leaf Musial rookie outed by BO! Thanks for the heads-up, guys! No PSA did not reimburse me. Thankfully PWCC did. I'm done with them too.

I have a question.

Why is it when HGA makes a bad mistake the PSA crew on here bashes them like crazy.

But when PSA does something like give this card the all good to go knowing it has been altered they never seem to appear to share their opinion. Why is that?

Link to the PSA9 not working. Looks like PWCC pulled the card. Time to get PSA to review, give their stamp of approval, and relist this bad boy.

Never get cheated.

How can a card obviously manipulated like this be missed by PSA???

paging Mr. Turner: I thought things were going to change?

Isn't Mr.Turner an NBA super collector whose own cards are mostly in BGS holders?
