Been buying for months. But he’s also one of my favorite players.

Knicks ceiling is a competitive second round exit. I think you probably missed the boat on Randle as his prices are significantly higher than they were at the start of the year obviously.

Also remember he's in a Lakers uniform for his RC's which I think limits the upside of the card - personally if I am spending money on a nice Randle for my PC as a Knicks fan I'm waiting until he has a nice low numbered auto in a high end product in a Knicks uni rather than spending big money on a RC with him in a Lakers uni but that might just be me.

The Knicks are a great story tho, I want to see them make some noise in the playoffs. Agree with GoNY about a competitive 2nd round exit.

Definitely feel good for the Knicks fans

Don’t disagree about what you say and not putting him on the same level with LeBron, KD, Or any superstar type players that now play for other teams and have rookies in other jerseys. If he keeps balling his rookie will get the call and be his most valuable card! History shows this to be true. I would much rather have LeBron in cavs early cards than his laker jersey cards. High grade of those would be more valuable.

Randle has so much potential and although not buying more, I would bet if he keeps the trajectory of his game going my 3 randles, IF they 10 will be 4 figure cards.

Oh don't get me wrong - I'm not saying those are bad cards to have and hold - I 100% think that they will increase in value. But Randle has no meaningful connection/memory to the Lakers and I think that will put a ceiling on the upside of his RC's.

I just think because of the ceiling that is there on the RC's if you are putting out a cash investment there are better investments out there than Randle RC's because of the increase already there and the Lakers uniform.

Lebron in the Cavs uniform is iconic and he won a ring there - KD is in supersonics gear which doesn't exist anymore and has the nostalgia factor too. For Randle being in a Lakers uniform on his RC to not have any impact he would have to get to generational level talent and as much as I love him I just don't see that. Again it doesn't make the card worthless or anything but its a slight drawback and if you are looking to get into Randle right now I think there is better places to put your money.

I think you both have good points. From my view I’m a Lakers and Randle fan so I’m only targeting Lakers uniform cards.

To me Randle is a very good player who's shining on a not so great team. I don't see him doing this or pulling the same type of stats on a team with another star player. His cards seem to be overvalued for a guy who's had one excellent season. Maybe i'm wrong and he'll grow into a top 5 player in this league but I honestly don't see it even with the type of season he is having.

The Knicks roster are full of players who wants to prove something. I think they go deep with an experienced coach, defensive coach. And most importantly with a veteran PG (D.Rose). Usually if you get out-rebounded, you lose games, but not these Knicks. The coach knows how to put players in the right position to defend. They are rolling into the playoffs instead of limping into the playoffs (Lakers). Miami Heat came out of nowhere last year to be in the Finals, Knicks this year? I think Giannis is lit and man on fire, but if the NY Knicks go to the Finals, Randle cards will be going to the moon.

Just think...in a couple of years the Knicks will have Zion, Randle, and RJ.

If only he did this on the Lakers his 1st two years.

He's old, peaked too late. Wrong uniform on Rc card.
This hobby is harsh like that.

So his Knicks’ rookie card.
