Any tips on researching a vintage team photo?

I can't find any small details to help me ID this team. Usually there's some indication of the studio on the photo that helps put me in their city. I'm drawing a blank.
(it's an 8X10 on thick mat board)

Any help is appreciated.

Wow, what weird uniforms - why would anyone have embroidered the year onto a uniform instead of an initial or the team name?

Well, at least you have the year to go on! Only long-shot suggestion I have is that maybe the collared shirt and derby hat look was going out of style by that point in some areas of the country, so that you might be able to narrow the look down more regionally? Sorry, that's all I got!

Vinny __________________ I admit, I like collectibles for the action. Buying, selling, prospecting, gambling, etc., are parts of the fun. I will say that being older than many here I just can’t justify sticker autos. Give me a nice on-card auto and I feel that little connection to the signer.
