Thumbs down ALERT: PWCC Selling Counterfeit PSA 5 2009 Upper Deck USA Bryce Harper Autograph

Buyer beware of this counterfeit card graded by PSA that will be for sale on eBay in less than an hour. PWCC is also selling a counterfeit 2001 UD Legends Bart Starr auto that has been authenticated by PSA. Both cards were submitted in the same PSA submission.

So the entire card was faked? Not doubting you, just trying to understand.

They’re both cards on the list of heavily counterfeited cards originating from sellers in the New Jersey area. Then, just a quick look at the autographs, print quality, and the foil elements confirms these are not the real deal.

Where can I view the list of heavily counterfeited cards?

There’s a bunch more. Koufax, Jeter, 2003 Topps Pujols etc. BO user cardsforever may have a complete list; he’s done a lot of work on calling thee out. I just know the cards when I see them.

It amazing that all this fraud always seems to be affiliated with this company in some way or another.

I guess I never thought about Cards in this price range being worth the risk of faking — but bucks are bucks (my assumption is relatively low dollar card, even when authentic?)

I've seen a lot of those Mays cards popping up lately. Same seller has Bart Starr card also. fursafe55

Yeah, every autographed card in his active and completed listings is counterfeit.

Dozens of cards sold every week, multiple times a week, for five years. Even if they only get $50 a pop (lower end) you're well into the six-figure range, probably into seven-figures.

It makes the most sense. You can hide as a consignor, get great exposure,
have bidder identities hidden, and you don't even do any of the leg work
selling!

I'm just wondering if they go back to PSA and then they ok and send back
to PWCC would they copy and paste their comments from other auctions
deemed ok the second time around or use new lingo when relisting since these
are autos?

Might be time for another Nat podcast! All is good. BODA who?

So PSA can't detect trimming, re-coloring, bleaching or added paper stock. And obviously they cannot identify counterfeit cards.

Which begs the question... Is there anything they could do (or not do) that would hurt their corrupt business? Since their sheep submitters don't care about accuracy, honesty or integrity, they appear to be bulletproof.

To think that they're not aware of these complete counterfeit cards being around for years is kind of mind boggling lol

Someone please remind me why PSA commands a premium over BGS when they’ve been exposed plenty of times for grading counterfeit or trimmed cards????
