I'd like to start learning and collecting tobacco cards, I've been following prewar cards.com but also looking for any other suggestions or books that can help educate me and or just show me "what's out there". I like oddball sport and non-sport related items and figured this might be a fun time to start dabbling in it.
Has anyone use the American Card Catalog book by Burdick? Is that a good first start? Any help or suggestions are appreciated.
