Panini Redemption Scam....

Purchased 2020 Encased Football FOTL box direct from Panini. Should have contained 1 Graded Rookie Ruby Autograph. In the box was one Beckett Slab with redemption card inside. Submitted ticket. Received the card UNGRADED. Emailed Panini Customer Service the same day.

Here is the entirety of their response :

Hello. The product is called Encased. Not all cards are encased.

I wrote back immediately saying again that that was the only Slab in the box and that per their checklist Rookie Ruby Autograph's were only released graded.

No response. I followed up the next day. No response. I followed up 7 days straight. No response.

These are the pics I included in my email to them.

The redemption is in the Slab. The card they sent me is raw.....

But I’m assuming this stuff Was highly over priced like everything

Believe this happened a couple years ago with Encased and they had a CS Guy that let a tweet out saying Encased Redemptions would not be encased. OP I agree they should have stated this on the product packaging.

Sorry about the frustration OP, but if you are moving the card we would be interested.

why not just include redemption as is, lol, what was the point of it being in a slab if the card you receive back isnt graded

Honestly it it were graded it would probably be a 9 anyway - at that grade would rather have it raw.

But it was an encased hit and they didn’t say this year it wasn’t going to be encased. Whether it be a 4 or a 9 doesn’t matter, they should have an encased BGS card.

Is that a real photo?

I have purchased a few Bowman and Topps cards when I see the in the wild and almost every card is at least a 9 and most are 10s… WTH has Panini doing to us when getting a Gem 10 card is rare?

My last email to Panini Customer Service contains a link to this thread so that they can read various opinions. Twitter is next. Giving them time to respond as I am TRYING to be fair.
