The aqua blue and hot pink is definitely a unique color scheme for the base design. It'll be interesting to see how they look in person.

I like the autos, but am meh about the base. I agree with the poster who said this is turning into Bowman's Finest. The autos look like Gold Label as well, which is fine because I think those look good. This product is in desperate need of an identity. It's not as bad as Platinum, but it feels kind of neglected.

I like this and I hate this at the same time, and the two sides of me want to fight to the death.

I think it looks interesting, but die-cuts generally drive me nuts. Like I'm missing part of my card. There's less picture. Less room to sign, etc. I'd push over my grandmother for that Trout, but I'd still need a full sized trout in my collection and just have that card be the cool counterpart.

I see Lawlar, Cowser, Mayer have Best of 21 Autos. They seem to be the only Draft guys. Ford has an insert auto.

No other big draft guys on quick glance. Shame. No Allen, Sweeney, Montgomery x2, edit: House only has a base card

, the late 1st short stops. More repeat names of guys nobody cares about for the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th time. #vaaaaalue

All in all, half the checklist is amazing.

I find it odd that the base set mixes up vets/rookies with prospects. Has Best done that before?

It certainly hasn't been done during the most recent Bowman's Best era (2015 to present)

Wow, and then there's still 2021 Bowman's Best, which I'd almost completely forgotten about. It's already 12/28 and I'm surprised that more new 2021 products are still coming out.

And it will keep coming in 2022. Bowman Heritage and TC Platinum to name a few.

I would love to pick up a case of this but north of $2,000 is just too big of a gamble. Box prices are $275 most likely result in a couple of $5-10 autos and some nice base. Maybe Topps prices at $200-225 box still too much since taxes and shipping are not included in the price.
