It...it has to be an accident. I was prepared for his injury to count against him, but Acuna is on there, Bellinger is on there in a nightmare season...not mentioning Trout is insane.

I mean, Judge has 3.1 WAR in a mostly full season. Trout has 2.3 in a cup of coffee.

The fact that he's not in the runner-up section means they obviously forgot he existed, despite doing this exact thing the last two years and him being on both of those lists.

Certainly adds to the conversation about the 'face of baseball' when a writer for mlb.com can let Trout simply slip his mind when writing an article about the best players.
