More Valuable: SCG 9.5 or BGS 9 with 10 10 9 9 subs

Thinking of trying for the 9.5 on crossover but not sure if it’s worth the time and money.

BGS trumps SCG.

Keep your card as is.

Don't risk it and it grades lower.

I would do minimum crossover of 9.5

I wouldn’t do it, but if you do, make it a minimum of 10.

Most desirable outcome - keep the BGS 9 and the money you’d be spending with another TPG for the same card ……

Pretty much, but at least with the stuff I follow, PSA 10s are worth more than BGS 10s now. I'm sure that's not the rule, but BGS is losing share on PSA daily.

That's completely new to me, could you give an example?

Not doubting you, just never seen a PSA 10 outprice a BGS 10 before.

I'd say only BGS 10 black labels will value higher than regular PSA 10's, otherwise PSA 10 is at the top and worth more than everything else

I dont agree.
I would rather have an SGC 9.5 over a BGS 9 or a PSA 9.

Not really, just compare some key cards like the Trout Update RC.

The BGS 10 is well above the PSA 10. Black label is exponentially higher than both.

EDIT: Adding some data points here.

Last PSA 10 Trouts sold for:

$3,258
$3,056
$3,450

Last BGS 10 Trouts sold for:

$6,299
$7,750

Its not even close.
