Topps Now Field of Dreams 1/1

So on a whim I ordered a Topps Now 649 (the one with the players walking out of the cornfield). The one that came in the mail today was the gold version stamped 1/1. Any ideas on how to value a card like this?

Probably worth $15 or so. I'll make it easy and give you $25.

The highest sales for Now 1/1's have been around $500. Normally a non-player specific card like this wouldn't go for that kind of premium, but I bet this actually can surpass that with a little patience. The game will go down as iconic and a lot of people that paid thousands for tickets would probably pay a lot for this card to commemorate the event. I'd throw it up for $2000 OB and field offers for at least a week or two.

This is the first Topps Now card I've bought since 2016 since I went to the game. I would imagine there are many people that did the same. You should do well on it congrats!

Congrats on your hit! Definitely worth a few hundo, if not more.

Kind of frustrating when I buy 20 of these and hit no parallels. I've done that a few times throughout the year when I see a key team moment or a real historical accomplishment and use my rewards to get a bulk order. Very rarely do I ever get parallels. However if I order the daily set of 5 cards or whatever, I typically do get 1 or 2 parallels.

Wonder how they distribute these?

You'd be amazed at how different the print runs are. I have ordered 10-pack of an Indians card for my PC and got 4 parallels. There are some cards in the 500 print run range that I get 0 parallels and others I get 2. It truly is random.

Random, yes. But if you PC players that aren't superstars (yet), you definitely have better odds of pulling the numbered cards. I placed an order of 5 Julio Urias cards and hit a blue & purple parallel in the same order...but the PR was <500.
