If I'm selling, I'm only doing a full refund for a return. No partials

The situation definitely sucks for both of you guys. I'd let it play out and see how him escalating it will go...at least you'll get your money back with a full return (just make sure it fits the time parameters)

From ebay:

If a Global Shipping Program item arrives damaged, you would file a “return request,” just as you would in a non-GSP transaction. In most eligible cases, the buyer is fully covered by either the eBay Money Back Guarantee or the PayPal Purchase Protection program.

Can you define “slight curve”? Either it’s creased or it’s not, right?

On eBay since 2003 doesn't sound new to me.. you're a legal eBay adult now! Kidding. Pics would help, but what value are are talking about? At least the damage doesn't sound toooo bad. But I'm guessing it's less about the money, and more about principle of getting back what you deserve for receiving it in lesser condition.

Even when eBay decides in your favor it means you will have to ship it back. International tracking is always tricky so factor in the cost of that and if it's really worth the risk, time and effort. I'd say keep the card (if condition doesn't bother you too much) and cut your losses if you don't get a partial refund but good luck either way.

Full or nothing.

Just put something flat and heavy on it for a few days , there isn't a crease.

If I end up keeping the card, I will probably send it to SGC to have it evaluated professionally.

No offense but sheesh. I'd keep it...barely noticeable plus it's for your PC.

My policy on Ebay (both as a buyer and seller) is to never request nor pay out a partial refund. Either the item warrants a full refund or it doesn't.

It is obviously super disappointing though to get in a PC card and have it have a noticeable condition issue. My worst experience was getting a 1/1 KG card that the seller didn't disclose the giant scratch on the front of the card where it looked like they tried to scrape off a part of the background thinking it was a printing mark or something. I had to think about it long and hard, but ultimately I decided I would rather have the damaged 1/1 then to return it and never have it.

Also from your pictures, the card doesn't look that bad. As others have suggested, try stacking some heavy books on top of it or something to flatten it back out if it bothers you.

There's nobody to blame here except the seller. It's unfortunate for them, but it looks like they could've done a better job of securing the card. OP deserves compensation of some sort.

If it is worse in person...and if the card can readily be had in better condition then I guess I would vote for a return.

If the card is somewhat scarce/hard to find...I'd keep it.

Keep us posted

never ask for a partial refund, only accept it if the seller offers and you are comfortable with it.
