Fun and great way to get away from the 2020 season

Plus the giants, white sox and brewers all fun surprises

4 Stars.

Would have been 5 if Acuna, Trout and Luis Robert, etc played 150+ games.

Would have been 6 stars if we got a 3 or 4 way wild card tie and an 11 if we also got SF/LA one game playoff.

2 star baseball is better the 5 stars in the other sports but 2 stars for me. Covid rules and declining batting averages just a couple of the reasons.

3 star

- in the extra-inning, man on 2nd
- double-header 7 innings
- MLB cooking it (many no-hitters)
- MLB cooking it 2 (4 team tied-ump stirred it up)
- Trout, Acuna injured

I'm 3 star as well with the aforementioned injuries.

The surprises are nice, especially SF winning the division with solid years from Posey, Crawford and Wilmer Flores et.al.

The Yankees were rough to watch at times, though here they are with a shot. I wouldn't mind seeing Devers shine bright like last night.

Seeing Washington have to dismantle their team was also rough to watch. They didn't get to fully enjoy their post WS Championship because of Covid-19 and a poor start to 2021.

Hoping for a 5 star postseason. Not sure how anyone beats the Dodgers pitching staff if they survive the wild card. But Adam Wainwright could have something to say about that.

Was not able to watch many games this year on the tube. Followed more on the radio,Net,printed material. Followed the injuries etc. That took some interest away. So I'd say about average coverage for me.

Four. Most enjoyable. Padres hacked me off ( backed them when they were the 3rd favourite for the WS) but otherwise all good.

Excellent season, really. Hope the playoffs are huge. MLB playoffs are the best of any sport. So many clutch moments. There's nothing like it.

I did 4. Fun all around and some great performances. Needed a bit more playoff drama and a couple less injuries to go to 5. A great post-season could easily bump it up. One of the better mixes of talent in a while though I think.

2 Stars for me. Lots of injuries, rookies all sucked, not a ton of hype around cards aside from Ohtani. Angels sucked as usual.

Vlad and Ohtani breaking out made up for Acuña and Trout's injuries. No one expected them to perform at the level they did.

Other upsides:
- Wander called up to tie the on-base record set by HoF Frank Robinson
- Soto with a season long crescendo to remind everyone he's still the best hitter
- Votto coming back from his old man decline
- An NL nail biter for the CY. Even Calculusdork's Projector is broken
- Perez breaking the HR record for catchers
- Semien breaking the HR record for 2B
- Alonso HRD repeat
- Scherzer 3,000 K's
- Red Sox outperforming

Downsides:
- deGrom pulled after a historic start to the season
- COVID rules still in effect...
- Bauer
- Betts with a legit down year (4.2 bWAR)
- PSA/BGS shutdown
- Red Sox underperforming
