Default Redemptions for live cards

like everyone, i'm frustrated with panini's redemption process and want to get the forum's thoughts on a specific issue:

what's your experience with redeeming cards that are LIVE. i have several outstanding redemptions (some are years old) where the card is live and has been for several months and in some cases years.

*note i've been waiting at minimum 6 months for a card that's been live since the time of redemption. at most, i've been waiting 3 years for a card that was live during the time of redemption. additionally, i've been waiting over a year for NON AUTO redemptions (eg: glass cards).

this seems like pure negligence on panini's part, especially with the non auto cards. anyone else having these types of issues?

Yes, literally everyone that has redemptions out with Panini. And now that they only have 5 years left before all of their Licenses expire, I wouldn't expect it to get any better. I would stay far, far away from redemptions at this point.

right, but a majority of issues stem from panini (allegedly) waiting to get the cards back from the athletes, athletes not signing in a timely manner, etc. my point here is panini has the card, it's live, and they're just not sending them out.

Yes, this right here. I've been staying far away from redemptions for awhile, and this just reinforces it. I will never buy one and will try to sell any I pull. But who am I kidding, I'm not opening anything at these prices to pull anything. HAHA

Just because a card is live doesn't mean you will get it immediately. It depends on where in the line you are. There may have been 1000 other people to redeem it before you entered yours, all of those would have to be sent out before they got to yours.

Also, there is a chance that the athlete didn't sign all of the cards (for example, there may be 1000 cards, but they have only signed 300 of them so far). Sometimes they sign only part of them, and Panini might not have enough to fulfil all of the entered redemptions.

sure. however, i'm waiting on cards that are /49 or less (some are sticker autos, which is odd) AND it doesn't excuse the non-auto redemptions like absolute glass where panini is the one responsible for manufacturing. the only reason they aren't inserted into packs is because they're so thick and condition sensitive. i'm sorry but there are no excuses to be waiting over a year for those.
