Default How safe are fanatics holograms?

I’m looking into buying a autographed football with a fanatics holo. Should I have any concerns or should I be pretty safe buying it? I know they are faking uda holos now so just wanted to make sure before I bought.

I'd say safe, as in I haven't seen or heard anything about theirs being knocked off yet.

I agree, they have gotten very good forging the older Upper Deck holograms and even the paper certs. Tons of fake Jordan stuff out there with them. So much was signed at his "Flight School" its crazy. That was the easiest to forge, as you could use those certs on anything and it would sort of make sense.

And with UD not having a database to look into for that stuff, its a good scam.

Tristar is being knocked off, and has been for the past year or so. The scammers, out of Asian from what I can tell, are even pulling legit cert numbers online. And then using those on the holograms.

Very sneaky!

If it's a Brady you're looking at, there's a facebook group that can tell you if it's legit or not. I know those guys found some fake Fanatics Brady items last year.

Fanatics Holograms are very easy to take off footballs and basketballs. They are not tamper evident Holograms.

That would only work if you are forging the same item as the legit one. And are willing to have the legit one, be without a hologram and COA.

You cant take the holo off a cheap Trubisky 8X10, and use it to Peyton Manning helmet, as the numbers on the cert would should Trubisky in the database.

Dont get me wrong, this is what people have been doing with Mounted Memories and older Upper Deck stuff. Places where the database are useless.

With the Asian Tristar Tom Brady scam. They were looking up cert numbers in the database, and creating holograms with those numbers on them, to add to the forged stuff they were selling.

If they weren't so greedy, and dumped dozens on ebay at the same time, from all over Asia (mostly Korea) people wouldn't have put 2 and 2 together.

Have experienced no unwanted pregnancies since switching to fanatics holograms. Talk to a doctor to see if Icophanaticil Polyholotoragramin is right for you.

So the Tristar fakes only go back about a year or so? I bought a Brady Tristar helmet in 2018 so chances are that it is real?
