I wish I could buy more of the rare stuff at where I could this summer.

But what I find interesting is that his Prizm Base and Silver stuff is barely up (maybe 10-20%). What's been moving is his higher end stuff.

And for me, that doesn't matter at all because I would only buy who/what I like. Sure, I've made a bit on a Morant (assuming the buyer was legit) but on the whole I don't really care if nobody is going up. Just enjoy the cards.

Who cares? Other than the dumb dumbs who "invest" their money into cardboard at peak popularity with the highest print runs in ages. Most of them are selling and leaving the hobby already.

Also, tons of stuff has gone up. Look no further than cards with small print runs and specific sets from One, Spotlight Signatures, etc.

I'm pretty sure if panini actually released products with current rookies, i'm sure Scottie Barnes, josh giddey and Evan mobley would be to the moon as they would have started the season hype train behind cade and green...I know I am saving some funds for 2022 when I can get actual rookies cards of this year's class.

There are a lot of guys up.... Or at least the high end stuff is in collectors' hands and can't be bought at anything like the prices they were last season. Example, Aaron Nesmith. I paid a total of $1600 for three prime 1-1 cards in May. Now you would get one similar card for $2,500 on eBay. Meanwhile, base Prizm and its ilk has dropped, if anything, and Nesmith sticker autos are raining from the sky. At the high end, it's a long term play, but one that I could only have afforded to make last year, given the odds.

I am waiting till April to find another 21-22 rookie that people have written off.

Jaren's higher end stuff seems to have bumped up a bit since Ja went down and he's been filling that void to an extent. Desmond Bane as well. They've both had a significant uptick in production/responsibility.

Jaren's is somewhat expected but people are starting to realize Bane is a baller.

Everything you buy now, you just have to have a game plan. Be VERY selective and really analyze the market before buying the player/card.

Know when to unload, know when the card value is too high relative to other factors.

Overall, just don't throw money at whatever card. Think about it first...

Exquisites, High End Jordans, Some Vintage and high end 90's inserts have all continuously been on the rise. Just as they have in the past.
