2020-21 Flux FOTL Box Break

Just rippped a box of Flux FOTL and it was meh overall, but I do like the look of the Scopes. Here are the hits:

Tyrese Maxey Silver Influx RC auto
Jakob Poeltl Gold Scope /8
Tre Jones Uncirculated Titan RC Purple Scope /38
Tobias Harris Blue /99
Clint Capela Fluid insert Red Shimmer /25
Kenyon Martin Jr. Troposphere insert
Elijah Hughes RC Silver (this was the only Silver RC)
Only base rookies of note were Haliburton and Maxey

Yeah I agree, they look amazing! I know Panini has used the Scope parallel several times, but I think these look the best, and the closest to the original pattern from the Metal Universe Championship PMGs.

The autos in this product are the worst I've ever seen from a Panini product. Nearly every box has a trash vet auto of some kind, so pulling a Maxey is solid!

I really like the look of the stuff and think I'm actually in the minority liking the atmospheric inserts. That Maxey auto is slick! With the huge rookie checklist I'm disappointed my boy Aaron Wiggins didn't end up in the set but oh well.

Gotta disagree with you on the scopes though (based on my preference) - Panini has done a lot to differentiate this product from everything else so I would just prefer less re-used parallel types like the scopes, disco/bubbles etc. for something this unique.

Yeah the FOTL bonuses in this box were pretty bad, so the Maxey auto saved the box for sure!

I agree that Panini should use some different parallels, but I think that ship has sailed at this point. With the existing ones that they have available to use, I thought the scopes looked really good on these cards.
