Those are great looking cards. The Mattingly, especially.

Weird...the font isn't quite right for the 2008 sets. The letters should be more angular. Either way, hope they do a Trout for my through-the-years set. Fits nicely into the 90s-00s hole currently.

Thanks for posting these.
Not holding out much hope for tons of Cubs this year, but we had a good stretch for a couple of years.

Problem is that nobody really thinks of a 2008 design as being a "throwback".....

Not to mention, I really think the 2008 design was ugly.

It bothers me so much when Topps can't even do their own throwbacks correctly. Past examples of screwups include:

- The font and first name / last name sizing on Topps 1988 (which they got CORRECT previously in 2017 for the TBT World Baseball Classic cards).

- The incorrect nameplate font on the 1987 Topps Future Stars design.

- How the 1987 Topps Future Stars design didn't have blue in the gradient of the "Future Stars" word mark.

Like.... if us fans can figure it out, how can a graphic designer employee at Topps who gets paid miss these things? It's very frustrating for me personally as I'm OCD about details like this.

And I agree with others, Topps 2008 is NOT a throwback! It's not even 20 years old!

This is the final set in this design. They do 4 weekly sets of each design. They started doing it that way in 2021. I hate it because now we get 12 designs per year instead of 52 designs.

They don't accept the Topps Now $40 off codes, if that's what you mean.

How many on-demand products is Wander going to be in this year? Over/under 10.

The wander variation for the Throwback Thursday should do well. 1/20 chance of getting it so the numbers will low compared to retail.

I liked the design this month. Good to see an actual non-baseball throwback again.
