Default Getting back in with my sons best true RPA ?

So I have been away for a decade ha ha and now my sons are of age to start collecting and both like cards. There are so many cards nowadays to choose from but generally I usually have bought the top tier stuff. I’m confused looking through stuff with so many variants and Panini brands to search through. So for football true RPA cards is NT and Immaculate and contenders the hierarchy still ? Thanks In advance

I think NT true RPA is still number 1 but be careful because even in NT there’s so many insert RPA. The one being the normal numbered one is usually the true RPA. Flawless might also have passed immaculate. Just my opinion.

I know they aren’t the most expensive, but I still say Impeccable is easily one of the nicest RPA’s year in and year out. They’re generally numbered the same or lower than NT, better looking and tens of thousands of dollars cheaper.

Why pay a lot more for RPA and their event worn materials? I would go Contenders personally.

One usually has some really nice looking cards to. They're also comparatively cheap.

If we are talking strictly best base auto/RPA from the set, I think my preference would be:

NT RPA
Flawless RPA
Contenders auto
Impeccable RPA
Immaculate RPA
Optic Rated Rookie Auto
Contenders Optic Auto
One RPA

I personally shy away from sticker autos, which is why Prizm and Select aren't on there.

If I am looking for a current player...
NT
Contenders Optic
Contenders
Prizm
Donruss Optic
Classics & Score Opti-Chrome
Flawless

there are a bunch but if I have to rake out the cash I am paying for some of the other brands then I go for these rather than others unless I get a deal.
