Default No-hype cards that suddenly became hyped

Ripping 2022 Topps and storing the majority of the rookie cards I can't help but wonder what 5 years will bring after looking at these again. In the past, what cards did you guys put away thinking they'd never be worth anything only to dig them out later b/c they suddenly became a hot item? Christian Yelich comes to mind but I'm trying to think of others.

I wish I had the foresight to keep all the Ginter Bitcoin cards I amassed in my Ohtani/Acuna rips and sent them all to PSA when it was $7 card.

Instead I sold every single one with all my other base cards.

At release this base card wasn't worth a buck. Then all of a sudden, a good 5-6 years later, it randomly started fetching $6-$10. I sold one for $7.

Now look at them

Ginter has a lot of cards that fit this. As for this year, unless it is a pitcher I don't see anyone causing hobby waves outside of the big guys as all the hitters are on the older side in Series 1. Tom Brady is the obvious ultimate example. I'm sure I either tossed or gave away a few rookies.

Literally every single card that ever existed, especially slabbed versions, skyrocketed in price in February 2021.

A couple years ago the 2016 Topps Chrome First Pitch cards of Kendrick Lamar shot up in price. They came down a little since then but still pretty strong at like 40-60 for a base refractor. The Superbowl performance didn't hurt I'm sure
