Just curious how ppl determine what to offer on a raw card when comparing past sales prices of their graded equivalent?
I see a lot of people trying to sell ungraded cards with 10-20% of what a PSA 10 has sold for. Is that the norm or are they off their rocker? Lol Thank you. |

You should never use PSA 10’s as a comp for raws because you should never expect any raw you buy to get a 10. Just let it be a pleasant surprise if it does. Raw should be comped against other raws in similar condition. Also, comping a raw against a PSA doesn’t factor in time/money spent on getting it graded and the risk involved.

Historically PSA 9 = raw (maybe + grading fees)
And PSA 10 = 2x raw …but this is no longer the past ![]() I see in high gem rate chrome cards nice looking raw going 10-20% more than psa 9. And PSA 10 going 3-4x PSA 9 in hard to gem releases (paper, mostly)… Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Last edited by pewe; 03-09-2022 at 03:48 PM. |

a perfect raw could sell around 10-15% less than a psa 9

Interesting comments. Appreciate the feedback.
I don't necessarily care for graded cards since I'm only interested in PC *but* I'm also not interested in paying the value of a graded card that's raw lol |

If you find a seller insisting on that kind of comp, just move on...no point in trying to change seller's mind.
