Wanted to start showing off some of my Seahawks PC(anyone else who wants to can also), also talk about the current season, past seasons(like 2013), future seasons - pretty much anything Seahawks related that doesn't fit in the eternal Seneca Wallace chit chat thread.

I'll start it off with some of my Hauschka PC - a little Haush$ - as it doesn't get any better then Jon Ryan making a Jon Ryan playing football face and Hauschka doing full pose after a kick and I personally think the Pink parallel does it best:






And my mostly Seahawks (Shaq and everyone's 2nd favorite Ram)- shelf of cool as of 2022 - will update a few cards soon:

So I know everyone was a little in shock after the RW3 trade and even DK spoke up that people need to support Drew "Hose" Lock.

But now that we've seen the play action stats and and Rashaad Penny came back - I think we're all ready to be all in, if Drew Lock wins the starting job

And I personally think in the secret Jody Allen, PC, JS off season meeting that JS finally was given final say instead of Pete.... This offseason just feels different, so hopefully we won't see anymore of those PC hormonal wtf trades.

Those Haus $ cards are sweet!

How do you see the draft playing out?

Imo their biggest needs right now are OL with the loss of Jones/Pocic and they haven't resigned Duane Brown or Shell. They could use CB with the loss of Reed too. Then DL/DE since Woods is up there in age and they ditched Dunlap who was their most reliable rusher.

I personally would like to see them shore up that O Line/Dline and use Lock as their QB to be the sacrificial lamb while the line works out it's kinks and Bobby Wagner gets his revenge out of his system. Get a starter later after you're team is solid and has some depth.

Wow - that's quite a nice card!!! Did a double take when I saw Browner on there.

I don't really follow college football - until a player gets drafted by the Seahawks and then I go watch all their highlight reels, so I usually just hope they draft BP available, especially with the pick at 9. I see a lot of mocks getting them Sauce, which I would be fine with a game changing CB.

I actually hope they don't trade back unless someone blows them away with an offer to jump up for a QB or something.

If the Seahawks do decide to draft a QB - unless they have decided someone is their guy in which case go get him, I hope they wait and see who falls to the 3rd round or later and get position players in rounds 1-2. JS does seem to be good at identifying QBs with potential - so I'm hoping they were being truthful when they said how much they love Drew's hose. But we'll see on draft day.

Same as you - I'd be happy if they go OL/DL with 2 of the 3 early picks. I think the OL will be ok - seemed to play better when they played some of the younger guys late in the season.

And here's hoping the draft feels like xmas in April:

Ya, I played it a lot back in college with my roommates... this is mid-90s so it was still on the console and cartridge. We even kept a "book of records".... but I think most of them were set by Bo Jackson. Dave Krieg had a few monster games also though. To add and entry to the "book of records", you had to keep the final screen up until it could be verified by someone else.

Sadly the "book of records" went missing at the end of one semester. If its still in existence, I suspect it might be somewhere near Olympia, WA(where one of my roommates was from).

Once it came out for the emulator and people started editing the ROM - I actually was getting new rosters for it up until the Texans were added.... I remember that was a big deal since there were a limited number of team slots, so to add a team the editor had to remove/replace a team.

Your Russ Gold Flawless 02/10 was mine at one point when I had 4 of the 10.
I knew it wouldn't grade well with the way they judge those corners.

I flipped one over since it had Jon Kitna.

Not sure if I've told this story on here before - but my freshman year(at WWU) I was on the football team. We played Central when Jon Kitna was still on the team. I still remember that week of practice leading up to the game - 99% of our game planning for them was for him. I was on the scout team impersonating their running back and I got no respect.

So I was pretty excited when he joined the Seahawks. At that level of football, so few players make it to the pros it was a huge deal. I still remember one of the Western CBs had a tryout with the Detroit Lions, and even that was a big deal!

In the Baker thread there are still a couple of pretty rabid Baker collectors though if you're looking to dump them though.

Recent pickup - I may be in the minority, but think it would have looked better with a Seahawks Uni. I still actually wear my "James" Seahawks jersey occasionally... it gets some double takes, since James is a common name.



Some more cards of guys who rarely get cards, as I like to call them, my Bryan Mone rookie card, and my Phil Haynes rookie card that also features DK and some other dude.

In total feature Bryan Mone L.J. Collier Kerry Hyder Jr. Ugo Amadi Phil Haynes DK Metcalf Russell Wilson RW3 and some dude named Amon-Ra.



And sadly I think I have guaranteed that the Seahawks will draft a QB high with another pickup of a set of nice Drew Hose Lock cards - 2019 Panini instant 1/2 - 2/2 logo Rookie cards. With the big logo surprised a Denver fan didn't grab them when they went "on sale" recently. I know my Eskridge logos are 2 of my favorite cards and a center piece to my shelf of cool.



And personally think he will look better in blue and green:



And hopefully the Seahawks can adopt a band like they did a few years ago with Macklemore , I nominate these guys, seems like good football music:




And somehow this guy keeps getting lost in the shuffle, course even my friend who is a huge Huskies fan doesn't think he will win the starting job:

The game is updated and released on cartridge with all the teams and current rosters, pretty much yearly. I know folks have yet to figure out to add teams to nhl 94 last I checked though.

Thats cool - I didn't realize they were still releasing it for the NES on cartridge, I thought it was emulator only at this point.... Course my NES is long gone(and I only really owned 1/3 of it with my 2 brothers). The Super Tecmo bowl cartridge was all mine though, used birthday money to buy it at Fred Meyers back in the day.

OK, now that I've been looking at the draft a bit, I've been seeing the monster DT being mocked to the Seahawks - I'm on board with that!

And hopefully no QBs drafted early unless JS thinks one of them is "the man" seems like 3rd round is the sweet spot for drafting a QB.


Here's looking at the depth chart after tomorrow, as I'm sure they will either draft or get one or more UDFA QBs - and had room on the scanning so thru on a couple other cards. Remember - the Seahawks have won 100% of the SBs that TJack played the 4th quarter

I'm seeing listed as best pure LT in the draft... Not quite the road grader as the earlier picked tackles, but if he can give "Hose" another second on the blind side, he'll be worth it.
