Yeah, that was a non-starter for me too. Also, not a fan of this in their help guide:

Offers no longer apply only to single items. Instead, any offer made is open to be accepted by a seller whose item is the same card, grade, and grading company.

Read more threads. There have probably been 10 threads about onlyalt on Blowout over the past 10 years. However, use google to search "site:blowoutforums.com onlyalt" because searching for ALT might get you onto a NSFW site.

This. I see cards that I'd like to go after, but yeah I'm not depositing a ton of money just to have the opportunity to bid.
