2021 Topps Foil Logo Placement Question

Does anyone know what the card on the right is? Maybe a foil placement error? All the #43 cards I saw have the 70th logo on the left side of the card.

Not from what I'm seeing on COMC or eBay. Factory sets seem to all have everything on the right (logo is on the right for the chrome card too). If I were a guessing man, I'd bet that it was just a factory goof not unlike the cards that don't get the Topps foil stamps in some years and stuff like that.

From memory I only opened 1 factory set (Green) and got Gold Stars and quit busting.

Opening/sorting another green set now.

So far all the foil has been on the normal side.

I have a Mountcastle, Adell, Madrigal, Javier and possibly others that are all opposite from all the ones I see on ebay.

Will keep looking around.

Opened a factory set and the foil was on the correct side (same as all the cards I looked at on the net).

Not all my cards have a foil parallel. I will see if I have other affected cards. Unless this is some other normal explanation.

The backs of the wrong foil have a more pinker background. The font is bolder as well.

I assume it was a different printer and they used the wrong template for applying the foil.

Fascinating. I remember some cards with stamps on different sides but can’t recall variance on the same card.

So I went thru my others cards and do not have any other foil flips. Although all my commons were dumped after breaking and most RC were sold off in lots shortly thereafter.

All my foil flips are Series 1.

For Ser. 1 I opened-
3 blasters
1 hanger
3 Walgreens hangers

Just opened numerous boxes of the earlier lot code of each grouping and did not find any.

I did a eBay search and didn't find any that way. Maybe it was one batch.

2 presses were being printed at the same time in order to print as much as possible. There's actually 8 printing plates 1/1 instead of 4.
