Default Where to donate cards that's not Goodwill?

Now that commons4kids is defunct/not accepting donations, does anyone know where I could send boxes and boxes of cards I don't want? They're modern, not junk wax stuff and from within the last 5 years.

My local children's hospital only wants new items with tags, so I was hoping there's a hospital that actively accepts card donations. I'm not looking for a tax writeoff either.

Find a school and contact teachers that have reward programs for their students. My wife is a teacher and she gets all of my commons that she packages and puts into a school “store” where kids can cash in points earned from practicing good behaviours or doing well overall.

Fire starter! Don't waste your time or anyone else's sending them to Goodwill, some random school, hospital, etc.

Does burning chrome cards send toxic fumes into the air? Does it increase global warming?

I have my boys pack base cards in team bags and pass em out to their classmates at school. They seem to enjoy making the "packs" and I'm sure the kids at school enjoy receiving them.

Hand them out at Halloween. I did this last year and the kids loved it. Even if they didn't know any of the players.
I also still gave out candy. I'm not a dentist or anything. The cards were optional if they wanted but almost every kids took some.

I take them to a LCS and allow the owner to either give the to his wife who is a nurse to hand to kids or the LCS owner can let kids go through them. Keeps the interest of the hobby flowing.

I make team bags and use them for prizes at our church’s kids program.

Boys and Girls Club is a good option.

I did this once but unfortunately the day after Halloween I found all my cards on the street and sidewalk and in the bushes...

My LCS accepts donations. Unfortunately the next time I visit the LCS I will see my donations in their display case with $2-$10 stickers

That's good feedback. I actually did teambags last year so they weren't loose card, so I imagine most didn't get opened until the kids were at home. But I was considering loose cards this year. Your feedback has me thinking that's not a good idea.

Did the Halloween thing last year. Will likely do it again.
Was successful.

Second grade teacher here.
I'm in Vegas. I could use Raiders and Golden Knights base commons to give out as rewards

Make bulk lots and hand them out on Halloween. The kids will enjoy them!
