Completely expected. Fanatics has more warehouses across the US than GTS has. They simply do not need GTS to do what they have already been doing for years with other products.

Not surprised.

Fanatics/Topps gotta make up for those licenses somewhere. Why let GTS make all the money hoarding wax letting their buddies eat when Fanatics can put that in their bottom line (or wishful thinkingly offer cheaper wax direct)

Fanatics eliminating hobby middle people by starting with the biggest one is a great way to start cleaning up the hobby.

Eliminate the middle man so you take the profits they would be making with your product.

Perhaps, but fewer middle people equates to an actual hobby with more collectors and far fewer flippers, auction house employees, influencers, breakers, marketers, etc., etc., etc.

All the middle people are a big reason why the “hobby” is artificially expensive and explains much of its corruption.

They've all been canceled, first three were the smaller ones now it is moving over to the big ones. It isn't immediate, there will be a gradual decline which has already been happening (AKA why Houdini told everyone months ago it was his last 100 case break)

Many direct accounts will be getting the axe next, as it appears the eventual gameplay is large portion direct and remaining portion to "partner" stores at inflated #s.

This is one of those moves where it seems like they will regret the move over to DTC and revert back to a distributor model when the slower products (of which there will be many, if you think there is overproduction now just wait til licenses kick in) start stockpiling in the warehouses, IMO

Don't worry, you will get same shot to buy products online at the same price your customers will through Fanatics. Ultimate fairness!

The guys in the video were saying GTS changes the pricing of their products after the first wave sells out based on the secondary market and maybe Fanatics doesn't like that.

Don't all distributors don't that these days? If not, which ones don't follow that model? I know my LCS says his distributor has either been cutting his promised allocation or will jack up prices now.

I think Luber has said before Fanatics intends to partner with shops and perhaps give hobby shops exclusive boxes.

I think Fanatics also intends to partner with certain breakers and will give them exclusive product as well.

Lube Boy is just going to partnership with the big breakers and cut out any regular shop and any regular shop will have to contend with the bots getting product.

So will this help lower Fanatic shipping times from a month to 3 weeks?
