Default Rare Justin Tucker Rookie Auto Find

Was going through an old box and came across this sweet Justin Tucker Rookie Card Auto /25!

Was even more surprised at its value the /290 sold for $611 most recently.

Cool card, it was a redemption if I remember correctly. I believe the value comes from the fact that he does not seem to have many rookie autographs?

Just wanted to share it's always amazing to find something like this sitting around!

Very nice find. I know there's a Tucker super collector on this site somewhere.

That's awesome!! I absolutely love obscure player cards like kickers, linemen etc.

Yeah but looks like he already owns this card. Here’s his PC thread

The value comes from him being one of the best kickers of all time, and having a handful of RCs period, and they're all autographs - NT, Contenders, Playbook, and this TC.

His NFL record long FG got him a bump last year but he's cooled off a little.

Awesome find. He is a sure fire HOF'er. Imagine how many of these got tossed in the trash back in 2012

Are you being sarcastic or do you really believe people throw away autographed cards from 2012?

It's akin to being thrown into a dollar box at the local card show where maybe a team collector would scoop it up. I find low numbered stuff, including autos, in those things all the time. Every now and then I find something worth a hundred bucks or more.

I've thrown hundreds away. What do I need a Tahj Boyd auto for?

A rookie kicker autograph? Not being sarcastic at all. I used to do it with o lineman back in the day. I don’t think I’ve pulled a kicker auto but probably would have done the same. Now I don’t throw any out.
